Trump stated that he sees no point in negotiations with Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump sees no point in resuming negotiations with Iranian officials to settle the armed conflict.
He told this to reporters during a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aoun at the White House.
"Until they are ready to have a constructive meeting, we are not interested in that," the American leader noted.
The U.S. President also announced a strike on a suspected new nuclear facility in Iran.
"We will attack. The new facility that they (unnamed sources in the American press — editor's note) are talking about. They (Iranian authorities — editor's note) may be trying to rebuild a facility. We will strike that place. Any place where they even think about nuclear [weapons], we will hit very hard," Trump emphasized.
