Shusha - the Capital of Media Dialogue
Today, the pearl of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation - ancient Shusha - is consistently being transformed into an intellectual center, which is undoubtedly facilitated by the annual Shusha Global Media Forum held here.
This is stated in the latest episode of the Caliber.Az YouTube channel.
"And so, on July 13 and 14 of this year, the crown of Karabakh hosted the next, fourth in a row, media forum, bringing together 160 guests from 53 countries of the world, including representatives of 30 news agencies, 60 media outlets, and 10 international organizations. They all arrived in Shusha to discuss what is perhaps one of the main issues of our time - the mission of media in promoting peace, restoring truth, and rebuilding trust, since today conflicts are waged not only on battlefields and the diplomatic front, but also on air, in news feeds, and on social networks. And given the role that Azerbaijan plays in the region, especially in the media sphere, it is hard to imagine a more symbolic venue for such a conversation than Shusha," the report states.
