The SOCAR team visited the Alley of Honorable Burial and the Alley of Martyrs

President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf and the company's staff visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs on the occasion of Oil Workers' Day.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to SOCAR, the company's staff honored the memory of the founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, the author of the country's new energy strategy, national leader Heydar Aliyev, and laid a wreath at the monument of the Great Leader.

The memory of the outstanding ophthalmologist scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honored, and flowers were laid on her grave.

SOCAR employees also visited the Alley of Martyrs, where they honored the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.
