Zakir Hasanov observed the combat training process of the military police

The leadership of the Ministry of Defense familiarized themselves with the activities of the forward operating base of the Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) company of the Military Police Department.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

Deputy Head of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigations of the Ministry of Defense - Head of the Military Police Department Major General Elgun Aliyev reported to Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov on the activities of the military police, the forward operating base, and the organization of troop service.

It was noted that the measures carried out at the OCC base have been brought into compliance with NATO standards and are aimed at ensuring interoperability in peacekeeping operations.

Having familiarized themselves with the conditions created on the unit's territory, the leadership inspected the barracks, sports and shooting facilities, training centers for engineering, reconnaissance, and driver training, as well as military equipment.

The ministry's leadership then observed the combat training process conducted within the framework of the upcoming Level 1 self-assessment exercise of the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept Evaluation and Feedback Programme, scheduled for October of this year.

Minister of Defense Colonel General Z. Hasanov assigned a number of specific tasks to the relevant officials regarding the further improvement of combat training of military personnel, enhancement of their material and technical support, and social and living conditions.

In conclusion, a group of military personnel who distinguished themselves in service were awarded, and trees were planted on the unit's territory.
