Another group of former internally displaced persons has departed for Khankendi, Khojaly, Agderin, and Jabrayil districts.

In accordance with the instruction of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the next group of former internally displaced persons has departed for the city of Khankendi, the settlement of Kerkejahan in Khankendi, the villages of Tezebina, Khanyurdu, Khanabad and Ballyja of the Khojaly district, the villages of Vengli, Chapar and Lower Oratag of the Agdere district, as well as the village of Shukurbeyli of the Jabrayil district.

As reported by BAKU.WS, these families were previously temporarily housed in various regions of the republic, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.

At this stage, 3 families (13 people) are returning to Khankendi, 5 families (22 people) to the settlement of Kerkejahan, 7 families (31 people) to the village of Tezebina, 5 families (22 people) to the village of Khanyurdu, 2 families (10 people) to the village of Khanabad, 1 family (4 people) to the village of Ballyja, 4 families (14 people) to the village of Vengli, 4 families (11 people) to the village of Chapar, 4 families (9 people) to the village of Lower Oratag, and 24 families (148 people) to the village of Shukurbeyli.

The residents returning to their native lands expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care. They also thanked the valiant Azerbaijani army, the heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands from occupation, and wished eternal peace to the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives on this path.
