President of Brazil Made Journalists Laugh at G20
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva asked the interpreter not to whisper in his ear, which made journalists and government members laugh at a press conference following the G20 summit.
As reported by BAKU.WS, according to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
A correspondent from a European media outlet asked a question in English, after which the interpreter began translating her words for the Brazilian leader, but spoke very quietly into the microphone. Lula da Silva stated that the interpreter wasn't speaking just for himself and asked him to speak louder. He also added that only the First Lady of Brazil, Rosângela Lula da Silva, "whispers in my ear."
