Iran responded to the IAEA's call to conduct inspections of nuclear facilities
Iran responded to the call by the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, to conduct inspections at the country's nuclear facilities and stated that this process could be carried out under certain conditions.
As reported by ISNA, this was stated by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami.
"The Director General of the Agency (IAEA head Rafael Grossi) must demand that the US and Israel cease attacks and threats against Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities in order to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of IAEA safeguards," he noted.
Earlier, Grossi stated that ensuring access to Iran's key nuclear facilities would lead to positive results for Tehran.
It should be recalled that the September session of the IAEA Board of Governors is underway, at which Azerbaijan also made a statement.
