Ilham Aliyev congratulated the president of North Macedonia

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the country's independence.

As Azertaj reports, the message reads:

"Dear Madam President,

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of North Macedonia, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to your entire nation my most sincere congratulations.

It is gratifying that interstate ties and partnership between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, built on good traditions, are strengthening and gaining new substance with each passing year.

Today, there are good opportunities for expanding the scope of our partnership. I believe that in the interests of our friendly peoples, we will continue to successfully pursue joint efforts aimed at strengthening ties between Azerbaijan and North Macedonia, and further expanding our bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

On this momentous day, I convey my best wishes to you and wish your friendly nation lasting well-being and prosperity."
