Peskov Named the Main Topics of the Upcoming Putin-Pashinyan Talks in Moscow
The main topics of the upcoming Russian-Armenian summit negotiations in Moscow are determining the further development of Armenia and its orientation, as well as holding a referendum on this issue.
As reported by Interfax, this was stated to journalists by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov.
"The heads of state will have the opportunity to once again discuss from all angles the main topic of our bilateral relations - this is the topic of choosing the direction of development, the orientation of Armenia, and the topic of holding a corresponding referendum," Peskov said.
Regarding the specific date of the Armenian prime minister's visit to Russia, the Kremlin representative noted: "The exact timing of this visit will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels, taking into account the working schedules of the heads of state."
He recalled that during the recent negotiations in Bishkek between the leaders of Russia and Armenia, "certain specific points related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation were outlined."
"And the relevant agencies will deal with and work through these issues, but most importantly, an agreement was reached that in the near future Pashinyan will visit Moscow, and the heads of state will have the opportunity to once again discuss from all angles the main topic of our bilateral relations," Peskov added.
