Pezeshkian called on authorities to acknowledge mistakes in governing the country
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that authorities must acknowledge their mistakes in governing the country, warning that ignoring public complaints will only lead to anger, violence, and alienation.
This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the "Free Iran" Telegram channel.
"We must admit that we have made mistakes in governance. If we do not acknowledge our mistakes and do not try to correct them, but only blame others, we will achieve nothing," he said.
Pezeshkian emphasized that public discontent will grow if state authorities remain indifferent to the demands and problems of the poor segments of the population.
"When all institutions and authorities ignore the demands and problems of vulnerable groups, we cannot expect society not to move toward violence, indifference, and alienation from the country and system," he noted.
