Pakistan convened an emergency meeting on nuclear arsenal
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has initiated an urgent meeting of the National Command Authority, which is responsible for the country's nuclear arsenal.
This is reported by Reuters.
It is noted that the Prime Minister announced the convening of a meeting of the highest body of civilian and military officials, which makes key decisions in the field of national security, particularly those related to the country's nuclear arsenal.
Recall that Pakistan launched a large-scale military operation "Bunyan ul-Marsus" ("Lead-Coated Wall") against India in response to actions by the Indian side. As a result, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic struck numerous strategic targets on Indian territory, including air bases, airfields, military headquarters, and a "BrahMos" missile storage facility. It is also reported that 70% of India's power grid was disabled as a result of cyberattacks.
