Train service between Tehran and Mashhad suspended due to US strike
In Iran, passenger train service between Tehran and Mashhad, where the funeral ceremony of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is scheduled to take place on July 9, has been suspended due to an overnight U.S. strike.
This was reported by the Tasnim agency.
According to the agency, repair crews were dispatched to the scene and began restoring the railway track. It is noted that the authorities have developed an alternative passenger route, which involves bypassing the damaged section using road transport.
