Vugar Mustafayev met with Selçuk Bayraktar

Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vugar Mustafayev discussed cooperation in the defense industry sector with Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company Baykar.

As reported by Oxu.Az, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün also participated in the meeting.

The parties noted that the strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in all areas, including in the defense industry sector.

It was emphasized that the further expansion of cooperation with Baykar is of great importance for the development of Azerbaijan's defense industry, and that the joint projects being implemented contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

During the meeting, issues of expanding military-technical cooperation, the introduction of innovative technologies, and other topics of mutual interest were also discussed.
