Fishermen in Turkey found an unmanned boat with 300 kg of explosives

Near the shores of the Turkish province of Trabzon, fishermen discovered an unmanned boat of unknown origin, reports Haberler.
The vessel was spotted at night and towed to the port of Yoroz, after which the coast guard was notified. One of the fishermen, Halil Ibrahim Bozok, said that it was later discovered that there was about 300 kg of explosives on board, according to CNN Turk.
The Coast Guard moved the boat to a "safe zone." The pier was cordoned off, the port was temporarily closed, and residents of coastal areas were evacuated. Sappers and experts arrived at the scene. Trabzon authorities clarified that the boat "presumably has a foreign origin," and emphasized that all necessary security measures had been taken. According to Haberler, there is a theory that the vessel may belong to Ukraine: the find resembles the Wasp and Snapper kamikaze sea drones that Great Britain gave to Kyiv to strengthen defense in the Black Sea.
