979 tons of Russian wheat shipped to Armenia through Azerbaijan

Today, a freight train consisting of 14 cars carrying Russian wheat transiting through the territory of Azerbaijan to Armenia departed from the Balajary station of CJSC "Azerbaijan Railways."

As Report informs, the total weight of the cargo is 979 tons.

The train will then cross into Georgia through the Boyuk Kasik railway station, from where it will head to Armenia.

Another shipment from Russia to Armenia will be carried out in transit through Azerbaijan.

As Oxu.Az reports, on August 6, 14 cars of wheat with a total weight of 979 tons will be dispatched from the Balajary station in the direction of the Boyuk Kasik station.

It should be noted that to date, more than 36,000 tons of grain, approximately 9,000 tons of fertilizers, 1,136 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 414 tons of anthracite, and 67,000 tons of wood materials have been shipped from Russia to Armenia in transit through Azerbaijan.

At the same time, to date, approximately 15,000 tons of diesel fuel and approximately 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been exported from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
