An earthquake occurred in a well-known tourist region of Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 occurred in the famous tourist area of Datça in Muğla province, reports the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD).

The tremors were recorded at a depth of 14 kilometers. According to preliminary data, the natural disaster occurred without serious destruction or casualties.

Despite the relatively low strength of the earthquake, there was momentary panic among local residents.
