The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan issued a statement regarding the so-called "presidential elections" held in the Tskhinvali region of Georgia.
This was reported by the Azerbaijani foreign policy agency.
The statement reaffirms Azerbaijan's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
"We do not recognize the so-called 'presidential elections' held in the Tskhinvali region of Georgia, nor their results," the document emphasizes.
It should be recalled that the so-called "presidential elections" in South Ossetia were held on September 18.
