Trump: The US and Iran held a three-hour meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly
The United States and Iran held a three-hour meeting on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
As reported by TASS, this was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
"Yes, today [representatives of the U.S. and Iran held a meeting] about an hour ago... It went very well. The meeting lasted three hours," the head of the White House noted, answering journalists' questions.
He asserted that Iran has two possible options for its future.
"In one case, it is total destruction, and the alternative is potential greatness. It could be a great country," Trump said.
