Ilham Aliyev: The main goal of creating the Western Industrial Park is the development of the mining industry

A video of President Ilham Aliyev's speech at a meeting dedicated to the "State Program for the Development of the Mining (Metal Ore) and Metallurgical Industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027-2030" has been published on his social media pages.

The head of state recalled the main purpose of establishing the Western Industrial Park.

"The main purpose of establishing the Western Industrial Park is the development of the mining industry specifically. Since the exploitation of the Dashkasan ore deposit and the implementation of other projects in the adjacent regions naturally necessitated the creation of the Western Industrial Park. First and foremost, the infrastructure here must be established in the shortest possible time, for which the necessary funds should be allocated in the budget. A complete mining industry chain must be created - all the way to obtaining the final product," the President of Azerbaijan stated.
