The II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum will be held in Baku

On September 25-26, the II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum will be held in Baku under the patronage of President Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the forum, organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO, is dedicated to the theme "Restoring Trust in a Fragmented World: The South Caucasus as a Pillar of Global Connectivity and Investment Stability."

The forum is organized in partnership with reputable think tanks. The strategic partner of the forum - The European House - Ambrosetti & TEHA Group - is one of Europe's leading analytical centers and is renowned for its analytical research in the fields of economic policy, investment, and competitiveness.

Changes in the global economy, the restructuring of supply chains, the emergence of new transport and energy routes, and the growing influence of technology and artificial intelligence on economic processes are also bringing new approaches to the investment agenda. In these conditions, Azerbaijan's strategic position connecting Europe and Asia further enhances its role in regional and global connectivity.

The forum will bring together the world's leading investors, representatives of state and international financial institutions, and business leaders. During the plenary session and panel sessions, there will be an exchange of views on issues related to the Middle Corridor, energy and green transition, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, infrastructure, industry and free economic zones, critical raw materials, agribusiness, financial cooperation, small and medium business development, tourism, real estate, and investment in human capital. At the center of discussions will be Azerbaijan's transformation from its established position as a reliable energy partner and transit hub into a broader economic platform supporting industrial production, investment, and the development of regional value chains.

The II Azerbaijan International Investment Forum is an important platform in terms of presenting our country's investment opportunities to the international business community, developing public-private partnerships, expanding cooperation with foreign investors and international financial institutions, and promoting new investment projects. Within the framework of the international event, the signing of important documents covering the fields of industry, finance, construction, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, the agricultural sector, water resources, and sports is expected.

It should be noted that the I Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, held in September last year, gathered more than 1,000 participants, and investment agreements totaling over 10 billion US dollars were signed. More than 7 billion US dollars of these agreements covered the non-oil sector.
