Main directions of state budget expenditures defined in Azerbaijan for four years

The main expenditure directions of the state budget of Azerbaijan have been determined based on the National Expenditure Priorities in accordance with the medium-term resource package, taking into account budget policy challenges and socio-economic goals.

As Report informs, this was stated by Prime Minister Ali Asadov at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting under his chairmanship.

According to the head of government, the main priority expenditure directions of the state budget for 2027-2030 are: support for sustainable economic growth, continuation of reconstruction, restoration, and resettlement activities in the territories liberated from occupation, strengthening of defense and national security measures, consistent implementation of social protection and social security measures, acceleration of the introduction of digital development, artificial intelligence, and innovative technologies, support for education and innovative development, improvement of the quality and efficiency of the healthcare system and medical services, and ensuring environmental cleanliness and "green growth."
