New restriction on bank cards to be introduced in Azerbaijan

Some banks in Azerbaijan have restricted the ability of clients to obtain multiple cards of the same category.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, corresponding instructions have been sent to the banks.

In a number of banks, this restriction is already in effect, while some will begin implementing it from October 1.

For example, if a client already has an active debit card in a certain currency, they will not be able to obtain a second one in the same currency. However, it will be possible to get a second debit card in a different currency.
