A new flaw of the iPhone 17 Pro has been identified

iPhone 17 Pro users have started complaining about shadows appearing in photos, reports Notebookcheck.
One of the first to notice the problem was a blogger with the nickname marcustechnology. He noticed that when photographing objects with flash, shadows can appear around their edges. Other iPhone models don't have similar effects. As an example, the blogger took identical photos on iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 13, noting that the flash didn't create shadows on the latter.
Journalists suggested that the cause might lie in the new flash placement. On earlier models, it was located next to the camera, whereas in iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, it was moved to the opposite edge of the back panel. The shadows may be appearing due to technical flaws in the device's design.
The blogger himself noted that because of the shadows, photos taken on the flagship iPhone look messy. According to him, "it feels like someone is holding a flashlight in the corner, and honestly, it's very annoying." Apple has not commented on the situation yet.
