High-protein diet proved to be more effective for weight loss than low-carb diet

In the world of dietetics, debates continue about the most effective weight loss strategies. Recent studies show that both low-carb and high-protein diets can lead to desired results, however, relatively few scientific comparisons have been made between them.
Research shows that increasing protein intake, rather than reducing carbohydrates, plays a key role in the weight loss process. Experts confirm that diets with increased protein content show the best results both in weight loss and its subsequent control.
Interesting fact: most low-carb diets automatically contain increased amounts of protein, while high-protein diets often involve reduced carbohydrate intake. An impressive experiment showed that participants following a diet with a ratio of 30% carbohydrates, 30% protein, and 40% fat achieved 58% better results compared to followers of the traditional Mediterranean diet.
A long-term nine-month study confirmed the benefits of a balanced diet with increased protein content (34%) for obese people. Such a diet demonstrated significantly higher effectiveness compared to the classic low-calorie diet.
