SOCAR strengthened safety measures at production facilities due to bad weather

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has strengthened security measures at the production facilities of "Azneft" PU due to the forecasted deterioration of weather conditions.

As BAKU.WS reports, this was announced by the SOCAR press service in response to a Report inquiry.

"In order to protect the health of employees within the framework of existing labor standards, necessary measures have been implemented. Explanatory work is being conducted in all production areas, and the situation is under constant monitoring," the statement says.

According to the weather forecast, rain, thunderstorms, and wind intensification are expected in Baku and the Absheron peninsula on the night of April 14-15. On April 16, heavy precipitation is forecasted, which may lead to flooding in some parts of the peninsula.
