Gianni Infantino presented commemorative gifts to Ilham Aliyev

The head of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, presented commemorative gifts to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The presentation ceremony took place during an official reception.

Among the gifts was a personalized sports jersey bearing the head of state's surname — "Aliyev" — and the symbolic number "26," referencing the year 2026. In addition, Infantino presented the official match balls and pennants of two upcoming world championships.

These refer to the FIFA U-15 World Cup, which next month will be held for the first time ever on the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as the FIFA U-20 World Cup, scheduled for 2027.
