How to Protect Yourself from Heat Stroke: Main Symptoms and Prevention## Contribution

With the rise in air temperature, the harmful effects of the sun also increase. Heat stroke is a condition that we often take lightly, however, without timely help, it can be life-threatening.
Have citizens experienced heat strokes with the onset of summer?
"Yes, it has happened. Suddenly my body began to shake. I used traditional medicines, and the fever subsided," shared one of the residents.
"I had heat stroke several times. I managed with folk remedies, with the help of kefir," noted another resident.
How do you identify heat stroke? What are its symptoms?
According to therapist Subhan Hajiyev, dizziness, nausea, headache, weakness, heavy sweating, and increased body temperature are the main signs of heat stroke:
"As soon as these symptoms appear, medical assistance is necessary. In such cases, it is recommended to immediately move the victim to a shady and cool place, moisten the body, and give cold water."
The simplest rule for protection against heat stroke is to spend as little time as possible under direct sunlight from 11:00 to 17:00.
Specialists recommend: if you cannot avoid active sunlight, prefer light-colored clothing in your summer wardrobe and avoid fatty and protein-rich foods. Regular fluid intake and staying in the shade are among the effective ways to protect against heat stroke.
