Pashinyan regretted not recognizing Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan earlier

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed regret that he did not recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan earlier.
According to Armenian media, he stated this at a press conference on Wednesday.
"I recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, in 2022. This decision should have been made much earlier," Pashinyan noted, emphasizing that such a step was correct from political, legal, and moral points of view.
He added that recognizing the territorial integrity of neighboring states is a necessary condition for affirming Armenia's own territorial integrity.
