Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Victory Park in Baku on July 16.

As BAKU.WS reports, a guard of honor was lined up here in honor of the guest.

The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan laid a wreath at the Victory Monument installed in the park.

Then the guest was provided with detailed information about the Victory Park, which was created to commemorate the unprecedented heroism shown by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War, and the grand historical Victory they achieved, as well as to perpetuate the bright memory of our martyrs.

It was noted that at the entrance to the park, which covers an area of about 10 hectares, a Triumphal Arch 44 meters high, 22 meters wide and with 44 columns was erected as a symbol of the 44-day Patriotic War.

Recall that the park was opened on November 8, 2024, with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
