The Great Return: 42 Families Resettle on Their Native Lands

In accordance with the instructions of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return process to the territories liberated from occupation continues.

As reported by BAKU.WS, on September 30, another group of former internally displaced persons departed from Baku to the village of Shukurbeyli in the Jabrayil district, and to the cities of Khojaly and Khojavend.

At this stage, 42 families (193 people) are returning to their native lands. 9 families (60 people) are relocating to the village of Shukurbeyli, 17 families (78 people) to the city of Khojaly, and 16 families (55 people) to the city of Khojavend.

The families relocating to the mentioned settlements had been temporarily residing in various regions of the republic, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

The residents returning to their native land expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care. They also expressed appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani army, the heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands, and offered prayers for the souls of the servicemen who gave their lives on this path.
