Touching words from a hospitalized People's Artist of Azerbaijan

I am in the hospital, feeling unwell, suffering from severe pain.

People's Artist of Azerbaijan Sheikh Abdul Mahmudov said this in a statement to Oxu.Az.

"Tomorrow I have to undergo a series of examinations. Only after that will the doctors be able to make a final conclusion. This will probably take a couple of days. I eat, I walk, but the pain doesn't subside. I don't have just one or two illnesses, there are many. We'll see how everything turns out. God willing, everything will be fine.

Physical ailments are fixable, but something else hurts me a little — the forgetfulness of our people. I served art for many years, gave it everything I had, and today I see that it all seems to have lost its value. Forgetfulness hurts the most. All my life I earned through honest work — I didn't steal, I didn't rob. And sometimes you catch yourself thinking that everything should have been different... Everything is the will of the Almighty, what is meant to be will be. If it is Allah's will, everything will work out," the actor shared.

People's Artist of Azerbaijan Sheikh Abdul Mahmudov has developed health problems.

As reported by Qaynarinfo, he was hospitalized this morning at the Baku Health Center.

In his statement, the actor said that he is currently battling several illnesses at once.

"My illness is like a general store: the gastrointestinal tract, eyes, bronchi, etc. — everything is mixed up. Examinations are being conducted for now. The doctors will announce their final conclusion after them. These are old-age diseases, the body is already giving out," the artist added.

It should be noted that some time ago Mahmudov also experienced health problems. The actor underwent treatment at one of the private hospitals, where he had surgery.
