Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva participated in iftar with mothers of martyrs

With the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, another iftar was organized on March 14 during the holy month of Ramadan.

As reported by AZERTAJ, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva participated in the iftar.

Family members of martyrs, war participants, and veterans from different regions and remote villages of Azerbaijan were invited to the iftar.

At the ceremony, verses from the Holy Quran were recited and prayers were offered for the souls of our martyrs.

The speakers talked about the bravery of our heroic army under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, and the liberation of our lands from Armenian occupation, the heroism of the sons of the Motherland who became martyrs for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. There were also wishes for good days, prosperity, and well-being for our state and people, peace for the souls of our martyrs, health for our veterans, strength for the representatives of the valiant Azerbaijani army, and gratitude was expressed to the country's leadership.

Then, at the event organized with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture within the framework of the "My Son is a Hero" Fire Land Group project, famous Azerbaijani artists performed.

It should be noted that within the framework of the "My Father is a Hero" and "My Son is a Hero" projects, a series of events are organized to honor the memory of our heroes who died for the Motherland, with the participation of their families. Such events, held with the participation of martyrs' families, have already covered a number of districts.
