Doctor named the acceptable portion of cherries per day

The optimal daily dose of cherries is 200-300 grams. This amount should be divided into two or three portions throughout the day, Zarema Ten, head of the Center for Prevention and Health of the Adult Population at the Vidnoe Clinical Hospital of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health, told RIA Novosti.
"For healthy adults, 200-300 grams of cherries per day is considered the optimal and safe portion, which is approximately 1.5-2 cups without pits," she noted.
According to Ten, one should start with smaller portions of 50-100 grams, especially if a person has eaten cherries before or has a sensitive stomach.
