Ilham Aliyev: For our part, we will do everything possible to unite the Muslim world as one family

I am confident that this OIC Summit, which will be held in Azerbaijan next year, will yield excellent results. We hope that before this Summit, the processes occurring between some Muslim countries, misunderstandings, and in some cases clashes, will cease.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with participants of an international conference in Baku.

"For our part, we will do everything possible to ensure that the Muslim world unites as one family, that all unnecessary talks are ceased, and confrontations are stopped. So that elements wishing to divide us, and in reality — to strike a blow against the Islamic religion, are put in their place," the head of state emphasized.
