President of Azerbaijan: The Council of Europe effectively supported the occupation
The major powers behind Armenia, including and above all the co-chair countries of the late Minsk Group, wanted to conceal all these actions. Armenia did not allow foreign observers into the occupied territories.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with participants of international conferences in Baku.
Emphasizing that, however, international organizations remained silent on this matter, the head of state said: "The United Nations, whose Security Council adopted four resolutions demanding the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied lands, remained silent, the OSCE remained silent. The Council of Europe effectively supported the occupation. The European Parliament always provided support to the occupying country Armenia, and this remains the case today."
