Azerbaijan invests $2 billion in Pakistan
Azerbaijan and Pakistan to sign agreements worth billions of dollars.

According to the publication, Azerbaijan plans to invest $2 billion in Pakistan's economy. The corresponding investment agreements will be signed during the expected visit of Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Baku at the end of the month:
"Currently, Minister for Privatization, Investment and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, who heads the Pakistani delegation in Baku, stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz will visit Central Asian countries this month, and agreements worth $2 billion will be signed with Azerbaijan for investments in Pakistan."
The publication notes that the main areas of investment include oil and gas exploration, renewable energy development, and energy efficiency.
