Israel demanded that British diplomats leave the country

Israel has demanded that British diplomats in Ramallah and UK representatives at the Gaza Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat leave the country within 7 days.

This was reported by the Israeli television channel "Channel 12."

According to the channel, the decision was made after the United Kingdom announced restrictions on trade in goods produced in Israeli settlements in the West Bank of the Jordan River.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar also ordered the closure of the British consulate in East Jerusalem. It is to cease operations within 30 days.

Earlier, the foreign ministers of 12 countries, including the United Kingdom, announced restrictions on trade in goods from Israeli settlements in the West Bank, stating that Israel's actions undermine the prospects for a two-state solution.
