Alexander Sharovsky played a significant role in the history of Azerbaijani theater.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Minister of Culture Adil Karimli at the farewell ceremony for the People's Artist.
According to him, Sharovsky had invaluable contributions to shaping the international image of the Academic Russian Drama Theater.
The minister noted that Alexander Sharovsky's activities in both the cultural and public spheres were highly appreciated by the Azerbaijani state.
Karimli also emphasized Sharovsky's contributions to the development of multicultural traditions in Azerbaijan: "Without a doubt, our people will never forget his work."
