Average monthly wages in Azerbaijan increased by 7%

The average monthly nominal wage of employees in Azerbaijan in January-June of the current year increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,174.4 manats.

This was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

According to the data, higher average monthly nominal wages were observed in such sectors of the economy as mining, financial and insurance activities, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, as well as transportation and warehousing.
