Zelensky: Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the last stronghold of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that last night Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a naval base in Novorossiysk, located more than 300 kilometers from the front line.
Zelensky wrote about this on Telegram.
"Last night, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out a unique operation to strike the naval base in Novorossiysk - the last major stronghold of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, located more than 300 kilometers from the front line," he wrote.
According to the Ukrainian president, jet-powered "Palianytsia" drones, "Neptune" missiles, and uncrewed naval systems were used in the attack.
Zelensky noted that hits on air defense positions, piers, and seaport infrastructure have been confirmed.
