Zelensky made a statement about the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

Russian military is strengthening its presence along the eastern border of Ukraine, which may indicate a possible strike on the Sumy region. At the same time, there is no information about the blockade of Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Kursk region of Russia.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, referring to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian army continues to fulfill its assigned tasks in certain areas of the Kursk region. He emphasized that thanks to the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a significant part of Russian forces was transferred to other regions, and the encirclement of Ukrainian units did not occur.
