Zelensky announced the successful test of a new Ukrainian missile

Ukraine conducted a test of the "Long Neptune" missile with a range of 1,000 km. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelensky.
"The Long Neptune has passed testing and successful combat use," he wrote in his Telegram channel. "The distance is 1,000 km."
Petro Poroshenko, who was then the president of the country, claimed back in 2019 that Ukraine allegedly possessed cruise missiles with such a range. At the same time, he reported plans to supply the "Neptune" ground-based cruise missile system designed to strike maritime and coastal targets.
The "Neptune" anti-ship missile is a Ukrainian subsonic low-altitude missile designed to destroy ships with a displacement of up to 5,000 tons, as well as ground targets. It was developed by Kyiv's "Luch" Design Bureau based on the Soviet Kh-35 missile. It can be launched from ships, aircraft, and ground-based launchers.
