The President approved a memorandum of cooperation in the field of statistics between Azerbaijan and Belarus
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On the approval of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of statistics between the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan and the National Statistical Committee of Belarus." The document was signed on June 2, 2026, in Minsk.
This was reported by Azertaj.
According to the decree, after the memorandum enters into force, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan will ensure the implementation of its provisions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has been instructed to notify the government of Belarus of the completion of the domestic procedures necessary for the memorandum to enter into force.
