Jackie Chan Spoke About Azerbaijan

The international creative team behind the adventure film "Armor of God: Ultimatum" has begun the next phase of filming in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The start of filming in Baku was marked by the traditional ceremony of breaking a special plate. This is considered a symbol of the successful beginning of a new phase of filming.

The film's plot centers on a new mission of the "Asian Hawk." He must find an ancient artifact called the Tumar, for which a reward of over $20 million has been offered.

Filming is being conducted simultaneously across several countries. The project is being carried out by an international team bringing together actors and filmmakers from different countries. For the first time, film crews from Kazakhstan and China have joined forces for a movie production.

"Ultimatum" is the fourth film in the now iconic "Armor of God" franchise. The lead role is played by the famous actor Jackie Chan. The actor once again embodies the legendary adventurer known as the "Asian Hawk."

Baku was chosen as a filming location in accordance with the film's artistic concept. According to the storyline, the new chapter of the story unfolds around the Caspian Sea. That is why this phase of filming is taking place in Azerbaijan. A number of key scenes will be shot at various locations in Baku.

This phase holds special significance for Jackie Chan as well. The actor is filming in Azerbaijan for the first time.

"Working in a country where I have never filmed before fills me with special excitement," said Jackie Chan.

The organization of the film crew's visit to Azerbaijan and the filming process in the country are supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Film Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

More than 100 local specialists in various film professions have been involved in the production process.

Filming of "Armor of God: Ultimatum" will continue until the fall of 2026. The film's premiere is scheduled for 2027.
