Trump: The US may drop by Cuba after Iran
The US may "stop by Cuba" after resolving the conflict with Iran.
US President Donald Trump stated this in a conversation with journalists outside the White House.
"We'll take care of that (Iran - ed.), and when we're done with that, we may stop by Cuba," he said.
In Trump's opinion, Cuba is in decline due to poor governance over many years.
The American leader has repeatedly claimed that Cuba's government and economy are on the verge of collapse following the cessation of oil supplies from Venezuela. On February 27, Trump stated that the United States could "take over Cuba in a friendly manner."
Later, Havana and Washington held negotiations to resolve bilateral disagreements. Cuba expressed its readiness to engage in dialogue based on equality and respect for the political systems and sovereignty of both nations.
