Iran has put its army on maximum combat readiness

Iran has declared that the country's Armed Forces have been placed on "maximum combat readiness" due to escalating tensions with the United States.

This was reported by Iranian state television and the Press TV outlet.

According to the information, Iran's acting Defense Minister Brigadier General Majid ibn Reza warned on Monday that "the country is prepared for any scenario and any aggression against the Islamic Republic will be met with a tough and decisive response."
