As reported by BAKU.WS, the portal was founded on April 13, 2010, on the initiative of journalists Hajibey Heydarli and Afsaladdin Agalarov. Currently, around one hundred articles are published on the site daily, covering a wide range of areas - news, interviews, reports, and opinion columns.

Leading print publications in the country regularly reference materials from the portal.

Consistently adhering to the principles of objectivity and statehood, Azxeber.com has established itself as one of the few information portals that enjoys popularity among intellectual youth.

Azxeber.com is also among the most popular news portals on social media.

The site's audience is impressive: approximately 860 thousand followers on Instagram, 800 thousand on TikTok, 50 thousand on YouTube, 100 thousand on Facebook, 60 thousand on Threads, and about 30 thousand on Telegram.
