MIDA: Over 10 years, more than 11 thousand families have been provided with subsidized housing
Over 10 years of activity, the State Housing Development Agency (MİDA) has provided housing to more than 11 thousand families in Azerbaijan.
This was stated at an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the State Agency.
It was noted at the meeting that during these years MİDA has implemented 19 projects, of which 16 are for subsidized housing, and 3 are within the framework of the "Great Return" to Karabakh.
Eight subsidized housing projects have been completed, including residential complexes in the settlement of Govsan and the Yasamal district of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, and Lankaran. These complexes include 12 thousand apartments, 5 schools, 9 kindergartens, a medical center, and a shopping center. Apartments in these complexes were provided to citizens both through the "Subsidized Housing" system and on the basis of government orders. Thus, over 10 years, more than 11 thousand families received housing under MİDA projects.
Work is currently ongoing on 8 projects, within which more than 6 thousand apartments, 2 schools, and 5 kindergartens are planned to be built. In addition, the State Agency has been allocated a land plot for the construction of a new complex in the city of Salyan.
Within the framework of projects in the liberated territories, MİDA has built residential complexes in Fuzuli (846 apartments) and Jabrayil (712 apartments), as well as carried out major renovations of 180 apartments in Khojaly.
It should be recalled that the electronic "Subsidized Housing" system on the "E-Government" portal was launched in 2017. During this time, the right to purchase housing has been confirmed for more than 45 thousand citizens from the subsidized category.
