Trump declared a breakthrough in resolving the conflict in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump stated that he considers the prospects for a successful resolution of the crisis in Ukraine to be very favorable.
As TASS reports, speaking to journalists at the White House, Trump noted that significant work had been done over the weekend.
"We want to understand if we can end this war. Maybe yes, maybe no, but in my view, our chances are very good," he said.
The head of the White House also reported that the American administration is already negotiating with the parties to the conflict about "division of assets."
"I think that most of this issue has already been discussed by both sides - Ukraine and Russia. We continue to talk about this, including the distribution of certain assets," Trump added.
