In Iran, it was reported that Mojtaba Khamenei was rescued from under the rubble of a hospital

Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was pulled from the rubble of a Tehran hospital after American-Israeli strikes hit the facility where he was receiving treatment.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in an interview with the Qatari television channel Al Araby by a member of Iran's Assembly of Experts, Mohsen Heydari.

According to him, after reports of Khamenei's hospitalization, strikes were carried out on three hospitals in Tehran. Mojtaba Khamenei was in the third one and was rescued from under the debris.

The New York Post reports that after this, the 56-year-old Khamenei was transported to an unknown location and has since not appeared publicly or made any statements.

The publication also cites reports that, according to U.S. intelligence assessments, he sustained serious injuries as a result of previous attacks.

Last month, U.S. President Donald Trump told commentator Glenn Beck that he believes Khamenei is still alive but was seriously wounded.

"I don't think he's dead. He was very seriously injured. The left side of his body — arm, leg, all of it. He was very seriously injured, but I don't think he's dead," Trump said.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian this week gave an entirely different assessment in an interview with Fox News, stating that Khamenei is completely healthy.
